How about this:

Bombers base at 1 in their Forts, the swing out North over the sea then head south for 80 (85 Dar), 91, 27 (26 DAR) then Rebase to 87. They will need to ferry to 1 to continue operations.
Or would the prefer to start at 87 and go North, reversing the order. The 4th will be covering you so please coordinate with them. There will be some fighters all along the front if you need extra cover.

4th FG - F77 - Heavy to 72,73,31,82,81 (might need to cut short to escort the Buffs) if the bombers decide to go South to North, you will be based at 17 & 18

23rd FG - F79 - Heavy to 44,43,42,85 then hit their Tigers on the way back to 79

Haze (100th) - F89 - Heavy to 62, PIZVH, then protect M4A3's

American Eagles - F78 (F14 if you prefer) - Heavy to 67,36, then protect T34's

RCAF 127 Wing - F22 - Heavy to 45,46, then protect M4A1's

If the 352nd moves at any of the small squads, I want them all to fall back to the 52 area, I will have the 4th or 23rd move in from behind and then we can all attack at once, outnumbering them by 2-1. Just watch for my order to "FALL BACK", once they are dealt with, resume normal protection duties.

How does this look to Gummy Bear ;)

Salute!

per request, Beaver.......

We can use a closer field, like 77. We have plenty of gas, so can get back from anyplace, but it takes time.

I shall still defer to the DR, as they have examined the potential tgts more than we vagabond Nomads have.

Okay Gums, we shall see what Darryl and Company would like. Just remember, we are CO-CO's this frame so don't be afraid to lay down some orders. ;)

My few cents:
Are the 4th and 23rd to make a quick "special ops" jabo, then RTB and re-launch for air-to-air related duty, and maybe go jabo at a later time if we killed enough axis fighters to own the airspace sir?

Otherwise if we are to commit to jabo during this frame, the 352nd and luftflotte will come in with alt and have a turkey shoot at us, reducing our numbers until we are no real threat. I am concerned this would result in the allies closing several bases the first hour, but end up outnumbered during the last hour(s) of the frame, leaving the axis with the initiative to kill bases/tanks as they please. (Also remember our spit IXs only carry 2x250 lbs)

About the 352nd:
The 352nd are known to push far into our airspace some 30-70 minutes into the frames. Atm they are a very skilled and beats us whenever we attack them with equal numbers. If we could somehow organise our fighter squads with a plan, like at a given command have them assemble at RVs (ordered by the CO) around the 352nd if they go deep again. Then if all squads move in for the kill from several angles at a given command by the frame CO, we could reduce the 352nd to ashes. This would leave us open to bully the axis around any way we want afterwards (close bases, kill their strikers etc). Do the fighter COs think we could make this work or is it better to just avoid the 352nd, playing cat n mouse as we outspeed them at high alt?

Cheers!

Basically all of the squads will make a quick strike on a few outposts, then return to protect tanks and have the 4th and 23rd escort the buffs, that should thin out the LW ranks with 7 steps of escort, that will draw the 352nd, unless they want to chase some of our smaller groups, which will retreat and pull the 352nd into the centre of the map in our territory, then one of the buff escorts should be able to disengage from the buffs and come in behind the 352nd. That would put 6-7 steps of Allied against their 3. :)

Once we have descimated the LW fighters, the 38's can go deeper, closing outposts and be escorted by some of the 4th.

Gotta go with Beaver on this.

@Robert - If the LW wants to remain in the stratosphere, then let them. We have to use our "lites" in jabo missions early on and then they scoot back and re-arm and such. We did it last frame and it worked. I just don't see the 352nd escorting the NS or the Knights. If they wanna stay up high, then fine with me.

Secondly, the Knights and others have to come down low to do anything. So some Allied CAP on obvious tgts could really help.

I gotta say that this is not a high altitude scenario. It is low and tactical. The buffs can't even see the outposts and such from much above 9 or 10K . Sure, the buffs need some little friends to help, but the big deal is to keep LW from closing a lotta outposts and such while we destroy theirs.

Gums opines....

Since we seem to be in agreement, I have moved the orders to Frame 5 Final Orders Thread. If anyone has anymore comments, please post them there. ;)
