Have to say felt partly responsible for you guys getting bounced in the north like that.
I was monitoring DAR and providing reports as your group approached 283 for an attack.
Thee were just 2 bandits on radar. 1 bandit circling 283 proper and 1 at the coastline approx 5 miles to the SW of 283 on the coast at he tip of the headland. These were the only 2 contacts the entire time.
As your group moved directly over and then south of 283 towards the coast, 4 bandits suddenly appeared on radar just behind you giving chase This then became 6 bandits, then 8 bandits, etc
Having watched a SINGLE bandit on radar circling 283 proper minutes before , the only explanation for a group of bandits suddenly appearing on Dar ALREADY to south of 283 was that they had only just taken off to give chase.
I knew that our radar coverage extended to the west of 283 and covered 283 proper because id monitored those 2 singles (and your group)
So the ONLY explanation of a group of bandits suddenly appearing on Dar a couple of miles to the south of 283 was that they had just taken off. (or had been cruising around NOE)
We had our own guy on radar too, and he saw the same thing. so when they popped on dar, we of course looked down.......wrong direction...they were high. Jabo said they were stacked up on each other so appeared as 1 dot..........They musta been sitting in each others laps, and some formation flying par excellence. Not your fault Bolok
btw, I havn't seen an AAr for the 23rd ( 1 survivor and he still in shock and not out of the infirmary yet) He just sits there and says ba ba ba ba ba ba badguys ba ba ba ba ba badguys, then dives under the bed. I think he will be ok soon. 23rd rethinking its plans for succeeding frames.
the multiple dots all appeared at the same. they were all spread out. they were also a few miles south of the field when they appeared
1 was tracking a single con directly over their field before the 23rd arrived. he went off dar right at the field just as you got there
If I was able to see that 1 con over the field itself, why did their group suddenly (all spread out) and already a few miles to the south of the field.
that doesn't make sense. if they had approached from the north, they would have shown on dar heading south over the field itself. if they had approached from the west , they would also have shown on dar as they approached for several miles
