<S> all!
I've started to plan for frame 5 so all and any suggestions are welcome.

We are allowed to request for an Ai Wellington raid on a German target, mix some of our own bombers in and provide some escort to close a base. Is it a good/bad/fun idea?

Since I missed frame 4 it would also be good to know which fields were closed.

Hi Robert... I think only Dar 68 was closed but F34 and F35 were hit pretty good. (they may have closed one of the southern Dar as well) Pretty sure all of the Dar was taken down at F1 but it remains open.

I'll think about you idea of a Wellington strike and get back to you. Might be a good idea.

Also thinking early in the frame, since they always send a squad or two to draw some of our fighters into an early scrap... Let's do what they hope for, but in overwhelming force. First we spot their early fighter cap, we position our fighter squads in an umbrella shape around them at max altitude, then come in on them from three directions, kill all their early scrappers in an as unfair fight as possible and rearm, then climb back to intercept the buffs. This could very well work since their buffs must strike deep into our territory, and we should have time to rearm after the big scrap and get back up.

I like it. They also like to send a small force to strike ground targets to pull us low. Expect that, or an Noe Stuka strike...plan accordingly Salute.

The ap of closed fields and DAE is just like the Frame 3 map but add 68 being closed

Rgr sir, thank you.

I'm also thinking of a Wellington Ai strike, supported by the 4th FG in B-25C's and escort, on F8 and F9. They are easy targets with few structures, and with a swarm of Ai bombers we should be able to close F8. The 4th FG B-25C's will hit F9, then go for clean up at F8, and then escape west over the water. This raid would be launched some time after the first German bombing raid, and hit them when the Axis fighters are buzzing over England again. Once our B-25C's are safe, the 4th escorts can go directly to help intercept the Luftwaffe over England.
