Some quick thoughts.
Rough nite, though not surprising.
Good job by all early on. 4 locations closed, but only one captured I think for the night. A valiant effort by those who defended 99, thanks!
Should have known the jabo die folks could get it down easily over 2 hours. My bad.
Seemed all fighters knew the mission at hand and recycled appropriately throughout the night.
I'm sure we lost by a wide margin point wise.
Some Axis that rolled from the east would go heavy, bomb 114 and continue on for fighter duty.
I couldn't send any of our bombers out to 118 area without fighter cover and the fighters were all busy.
Sorry for the obvious loss, hope all at least had some fun. That's about all we can get this series.
Not sure if there is a way to actually win a frame. Too much board game style for me I guess, or the point system is just messed up.

For future frames:
Lose many bombers and they will win for sure.
They will try closing locations to stop us from capturing anything we closed.
Airfields can not be defended, 2 maybe 3 guns for defense, most things are strafeable. Drop 3 bombs on ack and strafe at will.
With no dedicated bombers that practice on/review actual targets, it is difficult to mount any kind of planned bomb run. Simple fact.
Don't know if there is anything we can do as far as protecting bombers. One giant wing(ok not so giant) of bombers and escorts is a thought, but don't think it is viable either. Some fighter jocks would have to lead/fly a bomber which takes away escort numbers. For high alt buff runs they will sit in tower and see what we are doing before rolling and will be able to climb up to us before we can get close to any target, even with an airstart. Hmmm, a frame with no bombers maybe, just heavy fighters hitting all over the map? who knows.
This series would be very different if it was only one life, is all I can say.
I spent too much time planning.

Thanks for showing up...we did kill quite a few of them though!

At least we are heading in the right direction point wise. Lost first frame by ~30, 2nd frame by ~20, third frame by ~8. We also did much better in not losing so many airframes last frame.
I'd say if bombers are flown they absolutely have to have proper escort.
IF folks would practice just a bit or just become familiar with targets I'd say we could do just as much damage with heavy fighters without the point loss of bombers. There isn't much ack at most locations...take it down first and you have all night to finish off the location, which helps to allow one to be where they aren't.
We must change up our attacks during the night to keep the axis off balance. We should also spread out our attacks to spread out their defenses.
We also need to be aware of defending fields that if closed could negate our gains.
First sortie can still be a bum rush to wherever before they can get there.
Might even think about taking sone bombers with an air launch towards end of frame
Don't know what else to think

The last frame I GCI'ed for the 4th. Sent our heavy fighters NOE and spits high to cover the target. Then based on DAR and LW position I vectored the bombers away from any threat until fighters controlled the airspace or LW retired to rearm. Same for fights, if it was obvious they were going to be outnumbered I vectored them away from the threat and had them rearm for a later go. Whoever's in charge needs to be very proactive and aware of what's happening according to DAR. We could have stopped to LW JABO closing but just didn't have enough airframes. <S> bombr-
