The Group was tasked with putting up a bar CAP across the northern portion of the Front. As the Group was lifting to put the CAP up, we were dismayed to note that outposts were closing before we could reach the Front. The enemy took advantage of their bases in close proximity to the Front and ran quick low-level raids on the available targets there. Upon reaching the Front, the Group was engaged in action or rearming and refueling for the entire Frame. Engagements were frequent and at some junctures rather intense, and at all altitudes. Again this Frame Allied bombers were observed at relatively low altitudes and in "eaches" at some points. "MA Settings" were in place in Frame 4 making attacks on tank columns useless for any available aircraft that was not armed with bombs. Spacing of the tanks makes killing more than one with any one bomb unlikely.

Nice work in the North. I seen dobs video of the mass of greens at the 2.4X. It must have been an awesome site to see it happening live. You guys always seem to prevail and it is always a great honor to have the 352nd on our side.

Dobs .. I believe you also were running ACM during that engagement. Please forward it if you haven't already over wrote it. And WTG on your 7 kills.

I am not sure what you meant about planes not taking off at the start of the frame but I assume you guys got it worked out.

Thanks

I would also like to apologize for venturing too far south. Our intent was to stay above the 3 horizontal but near the 1.3x was where we first started encountering scattered bandits. We strayed a little too far in the chase "sampled some of your schnapps" as looboy put it. Apologies for that, but we did order them from our side of the bar. ;)

No problem guys. I had my 101 Wild Turkey ( confiscated from a Kentucky tourist before the war, of course) well hidden. Next time holler and I'll share. ;)
