S3 Series

The Group was tasked with presenting a false attack presence in the SW to draw enemy aircraft away from a planned NOE attack on the "quad" by the Knights, then to cover their egress to the East. The Group saw generally less action this Frame than in the previous one. After the initial sortie, the Group concentrated in finishing-up the targets that were previously attacked, and on the GVs which were encountered near the Front. As a Fighter Group, we don't often pull ground attack missions, however, our pilots acquitted themselves admirably taking out many GVs and ground targets.
