Gentlemen,

352nd Sortie 1 and succeeding.......

Take off Field 82 and push NNW for alt. At 12k moved 180º and then 090º to skirt enemy DAR level.
During movement had sightings of bogeys on dar and visual.
SSE of Buna we encountered 7+ Warhawks at or around 24K minus and attacked.
The enemy ran to home base nearly immediately and lost 1.
This feeling like a feint we moved north to Buna ASAP and then heard calls of attacks that area.

This is now where we lived the rest of the night. Many encounters in the 60 mile circle of that area.
Enemy came at 16k to 23K with obsolescent Devastators but in dive of only wingmen in general.

We also encountered a heavy Destroyer Barrage and tank and GV infiltrations at Fields 80 and 81 during rearm ops.

Losses were relatively light I believe at 3+.
Claims for non wingmen at 13+
Claims for wingmen at 18+
Claims for ground vehicles at 8+
