This frame is all about defending Buna with a serious sideshow of bombing and closing F108, their Airstart field. Thus denying them an airstart for their heavy bombers that come online in the last two Frames of NGD.
The idea is to disrupt the inbound Allies most likely from Port Moresby, the further West the better. They will probably have some NOE raiders along with medium altitude strikers, all with some fighter escort. Grab hard and get West when possible. Being in the stratosphere isn’t where we need to be early in the frame. We will have to keep our eyes peeled for NOE strikers early and all night as well.
We can’t forget that we only have ONE Radar Emitter left at Buna. No station is attached. If we lose that emitter we will most likely be blind unless there is something I’m missing.
Also take note that our two fields only have a combined 3 machine guns, 1 - 20mm, 4 - 40mm and 1 - 88mm for defensive purposes. Supposedly when the ai ground vehicle routine is called to run(may happen at any time) our side will also roll some ai gv’s for defense. Apparently the airfields won’t fire on the enemy gv’s for some reason.
If possible it would be nice to kill their gv's when they show.
We should have 4 Bettys tasked with destroying F108. They will have no escort, but will fly entirely off radar until approaching the target.
Basing: We have F80 and F82 airfields at Buna. With the number we have flying, as long as one or two steps roll from F82 the rest can roll at the large field - F80. Fighters must take 100% Fuel. Bombers can take no less than 75%.
