IN looking at the map and scoring tables lets do the following. 1. bombers airstart at F-7 ( bombers only) ( when convienant for selected targets) 2. all coastwatchers stations 5 pts ( they stay closed for entire series if hit) 3. All ships barges/freighters 2 pts/5 pts destroyers 15 pts and carriers 20 pts 4. forget any airfield...large airfields/20 pts, medium 15 pts...not worth the effort in accumulating points when destroyers and carriers account for same. 5. fighters press the fight over the Kokada/which can be struck with planes/gv's. Airstrike to kill the acks, before any gv's strike the area ( if any) 6. Raiders, if you a mind to, all the coastwatcher stations, the ones nearest fight if possible to deny radar, 500 ft radar if you wish Noe. futher away stations if resistance grows heavy. 7. also keep an eye out for any ship routines from bad guys 8. be prepared to provide cover for our own ships if they get found 9 BE PREPARED TO CHANGE PLANS ON THE FLY AND REACT TO ENEMY. 10. KILL THEM ALL!!
We only have the Kate for a bomber this first frame, they only have TBD. Look for fighters carrying ord. Kate will work well for the easy targets of coastwatcher stations/radar. Kate drivers, you got a bombsight in your Kate, so dont be afraid to level bomb from a medium alt cause for first part of frame, no enemy planes gonna be within range of you. But Noe works well too, whichever you prefer and will get best results. Zeke drivers, don't be afriad to take a couple of 60 Kg with you if opportunity presents itself. the 2 of them together equal about 300 lb bomb. 2 or 3 of yas can take a radar coastwatcher station. All strikers call out your targets to avoid doubling up of effort. Squads, pick your airfield of choice /targets and announce it. If someone is ballsy enough to scout for ships on south side ......good luck...contacting a convoy of some kind within striking distance would be super cool. Allies have 108 for thier airstart * Go in early, take a look at the radar stations on coastwatchers, they always up on a hill away from the tower and they funny little brick buildings with a gray circle or (egg) sitting on top of them, they are differant. Look at em offline if ya like .cmeye cruise around and eyeball em

Note:There are RADAR Stations at KoKoda and Isuvara which provides Allied DAR coverage in the Buna area.
Muzz's planning map is misleading by showing a DAR hole in the BUNA area. He does not think the RADAR Station provide coverage but I disagree unless this arena setting is different than the others.
The coast-watcher sites have only one item to destroy, a Emitter Dish. There is no AAA protecting them. Emitter Dishes are deployed well away from the netted tower and are hard to spot unless you know where to look for them. Strikers must survey the sites before the mission or they will fail to locate the Emitter Dishes.
Testing on my part indicates it will take 2 250Kg eggs, very near hits, to take out the Emitter Dish. Two 60Kg eggs and strafing was not effective. I think the Kate at 2k above the object is a good choice.
Bombing from any higher than 3k above the Emitter Dish (RD object) and it is hard to pick up.

Thanks much for the info OhShix ~S~.
