Well Axis friends,

It was nerve racking wondering if I sent you to your deaths or glory. The debrief from Looboy sounded very encouraging and look forward to your AAR's. Sounded like attrition once again was our bogeyman, but the AI kill count and the shipping mission complete were great to hear. Sucks we were not able to get 42. But all the same the allies were only able to close 2 bases with their grand armada. I will let Looboy elaborate more on the execution side of things.

I have to apologize for the tardiness which made things tense. Perhaps I should have given the chair over sooner but I've always tried to deliver promises I make even when life gets in the way. As usual the Axis made the best of a poopy series. Even if we come up short, we did not go down without a fight.

A big <<<S>>> to all of you and see you in the Solomons.

Zinhawk

Your plan was a good one even though it was late. One has to remember that RL stuff comes first. This team is great about stepping up and helping out. I'll post my AAR soon.

In case anyone is wondering as I am...

Based on the parser stats: We won the frame 113 to 92, but lost the series 511 to 535

Dang! Many ways we think we could have won if things were different, but it turned out a heck of a lot less grim than it felt.

If we had realized that closing their TAC fields were good for lots of points early, I would have had the Jets rock the socks off the Tac fields starting from the first, oh well, learn for next time. :)

This is nothing to sneeze about! They had the 2 big fighter squadrons hounding us and still manage to get the job done. Outnumbered and out gunned, damn, the Axis side ruled the frame. I think there is a lesson here of knowing what targets bring us the most points. Still, they might be looking at the same thing and try to keep us from getting there. It is a cat and mouse game but your plan was AWESOME!

Thats the thing.
I think we need to summarize before the series where the points are.
I see guys going for targets that we would have ranked two or three and don't understand. But its because we give a strong leeway to how you can accomplish your task but don't point out that the best points are here or there.
Its not the players fault they come with a mindset used to this or that and then we give them option 2 but fail to point it out. Thats often why something that is considered a blow-out or imbalanced in frames 1-3 is quite close in frame 4-5. We see it fairly often and must try and address it before it happens.

I thought you fellas did a good job throughout the series. It was a real challenge. We knew that frames 4-5 were going to be an all out attack on our ground assets. We prepared for that attack in frame 5, after suffering huge losses in frame 4.

P.S. The armada actually closed 4 of the 5 fields attacked in the last frame.

At the time of the post the only information I had at the time was 2 closures as I was not present in the frame. Since people have eyeballs I chose not to amend it.
