Well all one can say is, "What a Frame". After discussions 4th choose to put everybody up in DO-17Z and hit shipping before the Allies could defend properly. One pilot was sent out to recon North of the 4 line launching out of F111. Another pilot was launched out of F112 to recon ahead of bombers. Both recons did an excellent job, one providing good intel for AXIS bombers and the other locating and harassing incoming fighters inbound for F101-102 delaying their arrival.
All remaining pilots launched from F112 and attacked shipping in the Port of F102 with very good results and then immediately RTB to launch fighters to protect additional bombers launching again from F112.
Overall several sorties were run by both 4th AXIS fighters and bombers causing additional damage and sinking Allied shipping with little damage to bombers and fighters. Fighters coordinated well with each other again and provided good protection for attacking bombers.
It is expected that the AXIS took Frame 5 with the 4th providing 8 kills, 5 ships sunk (destroyers and troop ships) and sinking an additional 2 carriers just for good measure with the loss of 11 aircraft. About five AXIS fighters landed after T+180 due to Allied fighters following AXIS aircraft on RTB over F112 which were last AC shot down just at the end of the frame.
