I believe wether they go deep on frame 1 or pick close targets they will run down the 5 boxes as they have the most targets.

Our best net would to get all LW together at the second target in the 5 box instead of hitting them piecemeal.

Comments, idea's all welcome.

Key getting guys back into the fray as quick as possible is to make sure they know where the airstart fields are so they can run to them to rearm. Allies will try and stay as far away as possible from them but they are along the edge of the battlefield so not much they can do.

I am thinking of AE's in 109 G6/R6 or 110G2's (their choice) at L63 (airstart field) and head to L72. RCAF do the same in 190A4's. LF6 can start at S61 in the 109G6 and head to 72.

Attack Plan:

AE's lead the way closely followed by RCAF and just blow through their screen and into the bombers. F6 follows and picks on any of the screen that turns to follow our heavies. While not getting engaged too heavily.
M82 is an air start field to the south, L72 will be East. If they go North, M67 would be the air start field you want.

Do the update early.

Any comments or ideas are welcome.

Reading the actual events that transpired in February of 1944, it is interesting to note that both Allies and Axis got some good "take aways" from this week.

After "Big Week", the Allies under Jimmy Doolittle's leadership began using a forward sweep ahead of the buff group and then, after the bombers dropped their payload, the fighters went hunting to clean up any remaining Luftwaffe aircraft.

The Luftwaffe, for its part, realized that Bf-110's were completely unable to defend themselves against Allied fighters. So they loaded them up with cannon rounds--along with FW-190's--and escorted them to and from the area of the bombers.

Those that fly in the S3's know these lessons, so I would anticipate a forward sweep and fighters chasing us around after the buffs drop their bombs. Also, the 110 loaded with cannon pods is a great bomber destroyer, but it is no match for any Allied fighter in the series. An escort would be helpful.

That is part of my plan, if the AE's go with the 110's, RCAF will be with them all the way and will cleanup bombers or protect the 110's depending on the situation, LF6 will tie up part of the forward leaving less to get the 110's. They may be tasked with escorting 110's home.
