OC Frame IV Orders

Any changes or modifications will be made in RED

OK gents ... the bombers have to come deep this frame and next. I did an offline test in a b24 and it will take at least T+60 (if they go direct up the middle) to about T+90 - T+105 (if they throw in some TAC turns). I suggest that we remain very patient the first hour into the frame. Knights and JG127 will be the most active in the first hour and I ask that you guys be very careful on your 1st sortie. I am hoping you will be available the second half of the frame.

Knights bombers - Field LAF44, Primary objective will be LAF19. You may want to wait to be over target at or around T+30 to T+45. This will hopefully ensure that their fighters are away from the field looking for bad guys. Secondary field if ordinance remains will be M24. Please report any shipping over the water on your ingress. Sortie 2, if time permitting close airfield at T36 (field is located approx. 4.4.8.5)

Knights fighters - Plane of choice, field S58, Co-ordinate with your bombers and support them to target at LAF19. If needed please help close the field if targets remain. Support them out from LAF19 and M24 if needed. Sortie 2, I would like you to kill the bridges at 4.5.1.9 and at 4.4.8.4

JG127 - Field M52, Heavy Fighters to hit the two bridges at 4.4.1.3 and 4.4.2.5. Please support the Knights immediately following your drop on the bridges. Once the Knights are out please RTB and prepare for bomber attack. You may use M52 or M65 to refuel. Sortie 2 please ferry back to field LAF90 to prepare for the bombers.

AE - LAF74, 190's, Scout the waters off the coast M67 from the 6.8 to 6.9 look for NOE planes inbound to our shipping. 2nd sortie, Be prepared that the bomb group could use this area as their entry point. LAF89 and LAF91 are your alternate fields if the bombers go in deeper. Kill bombers.

VFA211 - LAF74, 190's, Scout the waters off the coast M67 from the 6.8 to 6.9 look for NOE planes inbound to our shipping. 2nd sortie, Be prepared that the bomb group could use this area as their entry point. LAF89 and LAF91 are your alternate fields if the bombers go in deeper. Kill bombers.

100th FGB - LAF74, 109K, Scout the waters off the coast M67 from the 6.7 to 6.8 look for NOE planes inbound to our shipping. 2nd sortie, Be prepared that the bomb group could use this area as their entry point. LAF89 and LAF91 are your alternate fields if the bombers go in deeper. Strip fighters.

Luftflotte-6 - LAF92, 109K, I suspect the bombers to either come up the middle or from the Northwest. This will put your group near the mix once I identify the ingress route. Your objective will be to clear the fighters. Your group may roll at T+ (your option) since you will be far from the front and I don't suspect the bomb group this deep until at least T+60.

<S> DrDart,

Can we get a clear division between which groups are stripping and which shooting? Strippers will want the 109 K4 151mm and shooters will want the 190D9. Neither aircraft is good at the other role, the 190 won't get high enough to strip and the K4 doesn't have enough firepower to take down a buff. If we don't get strip and shoot assignments we aren't likely to have enough of the right kind of aircraft in the air to succeed at either assignment (i.e if we are short of strippers the 190s can't get more than one pass and if we are short of shooters there won't be enough available to take down buffs once the escorts are stripped).

The Haze has to fly the K4 either this frame or next since we have been 190s in the first 3 frames.

Thanks,

trigr=

Orders Edited ....

JG127 .. you still have the option of 109's or 190's. I believe they both have a bomb option.
