Robert provided a good breakdown of the planeset comparison in this iEN thread. It does lack some data on the Ki43, Hurricane, P36 and B339.

Points to remember:

If you are bombing a ship, Defuse=0 or it will sink through and do no damage to ship (submariners may need to worry )

Don't go alone when on a torpedo run or you will attract all the ack before you are in range to launch. Even some fighters dancing above the ship(s) will help.

Sakai sama: You will need to have planes over the areathat will become ours at T+30. I expect a heavy attack on our new fields.

Frame 1 is pretty simple. Go sink the Repulse and Prince of Wales heading north to intercept your invasion force. I am sure the enemy will cover them with fighters unlike in real life. Or proceed to Siam airfields and land their at T+30 then attack the RN Eastern Force or their NE airbase at Kota Baharu. We should see the update with the new terrains today sometime. Luzon is just a placeholder terrain for now but will be finished before we run the Pearl Frame(FR #3).

I do a nuumber of jobs here at the medical school where I work. One is poster printing on a 42" HP T1300 plotter. This printer freakin rocks! Our neuroscientists are going to DC for their annual Society for Neuroscience conference and I prepare their large format posters. This week, I have prepped and printed more than 25 posters for SFN...and have three more pending for early next week.

A task this week for an in-house presentation was to print a poster for our Neuroscience Research center. I found a tutorial for Blender, a modelling app and thought 'yeah, i can do that.' So I downloaded it, and created my first 'Neuron'. Now I could spend another 40+ hours stretching and extruding the facets on this thing to make it more resemble a neuron, but I just didnt have the time and I am still learning the program. But this neuron poster was a big chunk of my week:




Blender is a remarkable program...if any of you have used it and have tips, techniques or comments, please let me know.

Will there be RJN carriers available?

No carriers for IJN just two groups of transports and escorts to escort protect into Siam. At T+30 the Siamese hand over control to their Japanese quasi-allies. The British have no carriers as well.
