It appears that we did keep all of our radar units in operation for future frames. I’m not sure how many were targeted though. We had great coverage of the whole coastline early on even though no noe strikers were sent. I appreciate the patience everyone had. We did the best we could with the B25s considering the escort and numbers situation. I would have called LF6 up N early on if I didn’t think the NS would be coming noe down South at the same time. Sorry LF6. Rallying and heading out West for the second attack was done in a timely fashion, much appreciated. I discoed 3 times sitting in tower so I didn’t have a running text buffer to go back to, but we took down a fair number of the bombers I’m sure. I do not believe they scored enough points to make up much of their points deficit.

Next frame CO:
Shipping is their point maker and they attacked them accordingly. Their are plenty of ships left.
The End of frame B25 noe attack up North gave them some extra points.
Remember they will most likely come back to a target if the points are worth it…they can’t target it in another frame. I knew this but didn’t cover it, mostly because we didn’t have the resources.

Thanks goes to everyone for their efforts during the frame. <S>

Good job as CO Split. Was a tough assignment given the disparity in numbers, coastal distances and number of targets to cover.

I'm betting the Allies will take comfort from their moderate success with big wing tactics. Sure we will see high tight bomber formations with plenty of spit escorts in the final frames. Deploying fast NOE ground strikers in the first 2 frames didn't work out well for them.

If we anticipate another big wing strike, might be wise to have some light 109s strip, dispatch or disperse escorts mid-channel, then hit the unescorted big boys with 190s and G6R6s as they approach France.

475th deployed this tactic in past similar scenarios with some success.
