CURRENTLY UNABLE TO POST GRAPHICS WILL SEND VIA EMAIL TO ALL PARTIES

S3 #103 Frame 3 OPS PLAN
Sunday 3/19/2017 19:30 hrs CST

Color Gold
Wing tanks should not be needed
All Groups Launch at 19:30 hrs CST T+0

6 Groups Base at 4 Fields AC selection is up to Group COs

4th FG will be based and launch from F1 - (Fall back to F9 if F1 closes, bombr-) (I'll direct a high and lo CAP when we form up tonight, I will also GCI sortie 1)

AEs and Luft 6 F9 and F54 respectively
NOs, DRs, NF will launch from F52 NOE to the point they make their turn to F68 and start climbing

The attack plan is as follows:

Sortie 1-
4th FG will defend F1 and try to hold it, at the same time AEs and Luft 6 will launch toward F68
being prepared to provide needed assist to 4th FG as they overfly F1
AEs and Luft 6 will launch from F9 and F54 heading to F68 to support Buffs coming from the East
AIs will launch at 5K so as to overfly F68 approximately 10 min before the manned bombers arrive.
It is hoped that the AIs will draw the Brits low and with fighter support from AE and Luft6 the Buffs will be
able to close F33 and F37. If these two fields are closed then start RTB and try to Hit F74 while RTB to
friendly bases.

Sortie 2-
Buffs and LF6 will launch simultaneously NOE to 10.7 turning to 9.9 and once there starting their climb and
attacking primary F38, F73 and secondary F39, F40 if possible.
4th will defend German territory while the AEs meet any resistance coming from Brits across the channel.

The primary objective for Sortie 1 is to Hold F1, Close F33, F37
The primary objective for Sortie 2 to again to Hold F1, if necessary defend the French Coast and Close
F38 and F73

If anything is wrong please notify me and I will get it corrected immediately
CURRENT UPDATE IS TO LET THE AIs AND MANNED BUFFS CLIMB TO ALTITUDE OFF DAR, IF POSSIBLE AS WELL AS A FEW OTHER CHANGES WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR.

Omega- X.O. 4th FG

Have the first two AIs at 5000 and the last two at 15000. All will come in from F52 to the 9,8 cross then turn to R68 then proceed to the attack on the airfields 33-37-38-39 in that order. Testing so far shows they dump their bombs and hit targets but cannot do much more than that.

I have not seen anything posted yet as to the toughness of the Wellingtons, and whether or not it was incorrect in frame 2.
If it is to be the same in this frame as last, I suggest strongly that no one attack them, as it is a complete waste of ammunition and resources.
Fighters should stick strictly to Escort and save their ammo for enemy fighters only.

Just my 2 cents.
