(Night Stalker perspective) I was the only Night Stalker in attendance and so joined with the combined bomber group. Nomads, Stalkers & DR all took off from France with orders to hit fields 19 & 74. initial launch was rather dreadful as we were not together but we were able to meet up and head into the target area thru our beachhead. Just as we got together we were jumped by several hurricanes over the channel just South East of Dover. Those of us who found other friendlies got close and headed to target. This made for a long drawn out attack at 19. We had fighter cover with us and they were busy the whole time. eventually we were able to close 19, With the extra life to bomber pilots we had waves of pilots relaunching and attacking... it was rather confusing. Credit Darryl as he was able to sort everything out and make sense of it and issue orders on the fly. We were able to close 19, 32 and 34, along with a southern radar outpost. DR did great work getting everything hit, Gums & Gundoc did their share also. I believe Gums even destroyed several AI ships at the port of 74. I broke off from the second attack and attacked enemy ground units in the south. I was able to kill several Opel trucks but never saw the tanks. First flight I was killed by a direct hit from an 88, second flight I succumbed to enemy air forces as I got too far north into their area of operation. Was a fun night, hopefully we will get the scoring figured out and know what to hit the second frame. <S> Sakai, well done. in the future, I think stuka or 110 strikes on ground targets would be an acceptable allocation of a few pilots. NOTE: I was able to kill individual trucks with a single 50kg bomb, so the 10 in the bomb bay is worth it to hit those infantry targets. |

Horrido! Pretty much the way I saw it, Cool. And I saw two F74 ships go down in the buffer. The start was close to chaos, like herding cats. But we got stuff going eventually and done good. On TeamSpeak I swear I heard some one saying "this was the state of confusion", followed by Darryl stating "and I am the secretary of state!!!", heh heh. We lost too many human pilots but our BDA will equal that out. The biggie is the Brits have to move further away from our beach head. May also have to check the points for those boats, as those are ripe for NOE strikes with popup for drops. Special thanks to the AE folks. Those dudes tried their best and also seemed to get a decent aount of kills while helping their "big friends". Herr Gums sends... |

Glad we could help Gums. Swanee was on the dar and he noticed a group of dots heading your way when you approached 89. He correctly surmised they were enemy and started us heading down to assist. We were already on intercept course when the call went out on TAC/Gold channel. Besea had us humming on WEP and we got to you in time. S! Crommm American Eagles |
