TOP SECRET!<S> Luftwaffe's finest!
Here is a fighter comparison from our German testpilots. Our finest fighter, the Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4 Aa has been compared to a captured Spitfire II.
NOTE! Kampfleistung 1.30 ata (bst2) only has a 5 min duration until overheat, as such the engineers at Mr. Messerschmitt's testing facilities have adviced to only use 1.30 ata as Emergency power. Be very careful with bst3 Notleistung 1.40 ata, as it has less than a 1 minute duration until the engine takes damage and the water casket blows. Dauerleistung 1.23 ata can confidently be used for 35 minute stints.
As can be seen we outspeed the Spitfire at all altitudes. As such keep your speed up if in a dangerous situation.
The Spitfire outclimbs us.
The Spitfire outturns us if we use a clean setting, however if we turn with 1 notch of flaps then we can turn inside the Spitfires for a few laps until their better turn rate starts to take presedence. Be careful on the stall horn though as the wings of the Messerschmitt can be prone to stalling when turning with flaps.
Be confident in scissoring offensively or defensively vs the Spitfire, as with 1 notch of flaps we have a lower stall speed.
