1. Frame COs can allocate up to 4 different AI missions each frame. 2. They only have to run one each frame and can choose the start times during the frame by telling the CM when to launch. 3. T+120 is the last time you can launch an AI mission. 4. Each mission needs plane type, start field and target field. 5. Dont use AI missions to attack GV positions or AI ships. I doubt they will attack them. 6. AI missions still inbound to target after T+160 will be aborted. 7. One AI mission can be used multiple times up to a maximum of 4. You dont need four different AI missions, 1 mission used four times will do as well. 8. AI missions must be Wellington ICs, Swordfish, Ju88A4s or Ju87Ds.

Yes and yes but keep it simple because its difficult to design them with the markers available.

Also when designing the TBF AI missions last series I found they were very deadly, striking a range of targets right on. That being said they did not do well with the mountainous Japanese terrain but in the Blitz terrain they would not wander into hills as much. Level AI bombers have less risk but seem to salvo all on the leads drop which is often short of target.

You need to pick a specific target at a field for level bombing but for dive bombers you can have them just attack a field and then they just drop and attack available targets, that is why they are more effective.
