The object of the exercise is to locate, disrupt and destroy the likely presence of a rather populated Allied strike force. The way our patrols are configured, the group making initial sightings or engagements can be supported by the other two elements "sagging" in their general path of flight. Patrol Groups are encouraged to remain within the coverage of IJ Radar. Painting the Allies and sending our fighters to them should allow vectors to be suggested for successful intercepts. On initial visual contact by any of our patrols, pilot reports of "Lots of Bad Guys" would be expected. Second Slash attacks have been successful in the first two Frames. When enemy contact is first confirmed and their headings verified, the Group "furthest away" may be requested to proceed to the engagement area "just in time" to become the "second wave" attack on the buffs and disrupted and reduced escort force. COs with pilots flying aircraft other than the N1K1 can consider having their pilots join the "second wave" element once a RP can be established.
Rinse and repeat as your aircraft rearm and refuel.
Note: There are valuable IJ Radar Assets in each of the patrol zones. When possible, protect those locations while shooting down bad guys.
Expect B-24 or TBF AI buffs.
