Horrido!

TNX, Jugs.

I am TDY starting Sat morning, but taking TDY stick and new laptop, so might be available Frame 1. Can help plan all next week while Frau Gums has her medical stuff done.

So seems like Cool ( NS) and Darryl are main contacts for now.
++++++++++++++++

Looks like we could get some good VP's sinking boats and hitting ports. Once getting a feel for the ck nd such, we might try gorilla for one of those double-digit point tgts, but I feel we would do better pcking away and drawing the Spits away from one central place.

The JU-88 is one fine piece of LW iron ( oops!! damage model is POS like most buffs). Sucker is fast and can carry 4 x 500 kg eggs, and those suckers pack a punch. Also has torps for ships. SO lite folk will like the thing.

Back later, but recommend stikers looking for and sinking boats, plus hitting ports until we get a feel for the series.

Herr Gums sends...

You get points for damaging the airfields and a bonus for closing them. They are big ticket items. Fields are layed out as historically as possible. So you will see some spread out fields in the centre.

Luftwaffe has the advantage in bombers and fighters but if you come down low you play into the Spitfires strengths. If you are going for static ships on Malta I would test the flak first.

Actually down low from 0-15 000 ft is where the Bf 109F-4 has the advantage over the Spitfire Vc, as it both outspeeds and outclimbs the Spit at low altitude. Up high the Messerschmitt struggles with it's small penguin-wings in the thin air, and the Spitfire Vc will outclimb it slightly, meaning it can also hold a turn better vs the Bf 109F at high alt. Speed is also quite even at high altitude. (This is why the British later added extra wing area to their high altitude Spitfire IXe's, while clipping the wings for their low altitude IXe's, as it increased the roll rate without really decreasing the low alt performance). I will post a full comparison in a few hours :-).

Orders will be out tonight. DR/Nomads plan on hitting Malta and blowing stuff up, NS plan on hitting shipping launching from 217 West of Malta. Our JU88s are big money points for the allies.
So please look at possible targets: GAF218 Refinery226 Seaplane base 229 supply 230 or port222/227 and tell me which ones you want to hit.

Robert can you add the MC202 to your comparison with the 109F4/Spit Vc please.
