First off thanks to everyone for the great work tonight on a short notice set of orders. I guess this whole FEBA kinda had everyone scratching their heads on what was exactly suppose to happen. Along with not having the numbers for pilots and trying to cover a 40 mile grid map is not an easy thing to do. Again thanks for making it easy for me to be in the chair <S>
So the DRs/Nomads/NS hit TAC 43 on the first run and leveled the main spawn point but had to go back for the "FORT" (which I didnt know about until Jabo told me about it. I had the DRs hit TAC43 because of what I believed would of benefited us, maybe I misread what Jabo was trying to say.

Stukas and 110s may be best taking out enemy tanks. The enemy will have a very had time defeating your tanks as they have light MGs and no bomb capable fighters. Luftwaffe bombers are best hitting tac structures where they are clumped together giving your tanks a better chance of closing the extended spawn points. The AI will not capture anything immediately so multiple sorties may be required. This event is very much a command in progress with flexibility important, hitting when the enemy is down and when he is somewhere else.
Fighters did great on the 2 runs at 43 clearing the way for the He111s. I did request the Paratroopers be launched at T+110 and they were launched at T+120. Now would that 10 minutes could have changed an outcome for 43? Who knows. I was in tower at TAC 50 watching the Ai tanks there battling. Seems that the Allied tanks were targeting buildings as our tanks were targeting GVs. But up at TAC 43 I saw no reports of our tanks destroying anything at the North and South spawn points.
TAC 50: That was sure a vulche fest on the Ai GVs down there where Hawker guns were taking out all the halftracks, and once they died they would respawn and repeat. Im sure those points are going to hurts us. We just didn't have enough assets to send down there to stop the killings. Myself and gooner late in the frame tried to get down there and kill some B25s or Hawkers but it did no good.
By this time our JUs were launched to fly to 43 to support the Blitz but they all got wiped out free pickings. LF6 was down to 1 pilot, 475th had 4 pilots and the Bombers just dropped on TAC 46 Proper. Bombers were upping again for a NOE raid to 46 again to hit the NE spawn and SE spawn. Our JUs were about 5 miles out of 43 and got decimated, so no support for 43's battle. I was told the 23rd stood down because they wouldn't have reached them in time and all remaining fighters were low ammo/parts/fuel.
By all means PLEASE give thoughts on this for future frame COs to think about on the would ofs could ofs and should ofs.
