Let's get the ball rolling on Frame 3.

After Frame 2 and being robbed of a victory of the CV, I think a little payback is need. Because of the BS call, I don't think I am going to waste our time with a Kami run.

I am thinking of calling an all out attack on the CVs with as much coverage as we can mustard up. I am thinking about sending in the fighters first clearing the way of the bombers to come in and sink ALL the CVs this time. Once the air has been cleared, I will release the fighters to search and destroy attackers.

What do you all think?

I like it. I would like it a lot more if we were able to fly ALL Ki84's but N1K1's will serve quite well if we stay below 25K.

I really like the potential to end the frame early and go to bed.

I say two giant squads LF6 with AE/8th and 475th/RCAF one comes in from NE one comes in NW and we search and destroy while waiting for bombers.

Since we lost our Ki84's this frame defending the Kami raid for not (a bit bitter about that), KoN fighters will be in the N1K1.

From ages ago the T+160 rule is hard and fast because of all the bitterness it brings up having late kills and such.
I attached to Hawk and saw no torpedoes launched until after I posted T+161. Call it a BS flag but next time if the Kamis are late launching I will ground them to avoid this situation. So now it becomes if you are not within 10 miles of the CV by T+150 all attacks must RTB. Same goes for Allied Avengers or B29s.

As the Frame CO, there will be no Kami run on this one. Busting it by your clock by 1 minute is changeable but I know it will go no where. The window for a Kami run is to small and trying to get everyone together in time just won't happen.

I am cleaning and oiling my N1K1. Better load some ammo too. ;)

If they declared USAAF again, the P51's will be delayed arriving and we should be able to swarm the carriers :)

Personally, I think if Jabo is going to enforce the T+160 surface attack time down to the second of weapons release then he needs to erase all the action directly attributable to the late launch.

Everyone was operating in good faith with no attempt to "game" the rules and a lot of people died on both sides supporting and defending the Kamikaze attack on the CV.

My understanding was that the T+160 rule was sort of like the RTB if not engaged rule, open to some leeway on either side.

Everything the Allies were doing after T+130 was to defend the CV and everything the Japs were doing after T+130 was to support the Kamikaze attack.

So if the CV attack doesn't count then the 30 minutes prior should just be erased from the points total. Personally, I don't care if individual kills are still counted for lifetime totals or not but the Frame scoring should not reflect all the action for a Kamikaze attack that Jabo appeared to referee as valid until the moment of destruction when he declared it outside the rules.
