S3 Series

Muskyz, Houndg & Coolon were present in frame 1 with Muskyz staying in the tower to lead & direct the Axis.

Houndg & I waited in tower then loaded up Ju87s with 250kg bombs and headed to target after the bombers got close to us. We attacked and tried to clean up after the bombers went thru. the sky was swirling with airplanes as we sent our ai in to attack (which they did). Even though it seemed the entire target was burning there were too many targets for us to get them all and you just don't even bother strafing with the Ju87's pea shooters.

There were several cons killed around us as we searched for targets and bombed what we found.. the close fighter support was extremely effective and right where we needed them.

Second hop had us all take torpedoes and look for shipping. personally I screwed up two attacks on ships and promptly missed both

Last attack was the strike on 117. we were spread out and just trying to make it to target, which we did. destroyed some buildings and finally found the one plane sitting next to the runway (how did I not see it??) I turned to hit it and was raked with a very effective burst of fire... was able to get control and just bomb the plane as I "crashed" with that destroyed 117 was closed! I got switched to my AI which was stuck on the ground... finally was able to get into the air and rtb. was a good night but should have been better if I'da been better with torpedos... or able to keep my AI from dropping a torpedo when I did thereby wasting 4 torpedos on one ship .. that missed anyway.

I actually had fun in the Ju87.

I went with Cool and Houndog on the 1st torpedo run. I also missed (not sure how, was probably to close) a DD cruising by. We did notice a couple of B25's sitting on the water. I strafed one to death then RTB'd.

I then up'd with bombs for 117. When I got there I promptly discod. So I upped again for 117. I am not sure if there is a rendering issue or what happened, my first low pass over 117 it looked to me that everything was still up except the DAR and Ack so I told Hawk we were going to need him at 117. So I dropped on a couple of buildings on the NE side of the runway and took them down burning. My second pass, it looked like almost everything was down?!?! Something very odd was happening there.
