JG51 along with JG77 and TK was tasked with creating a disturbance in the north to draw forces away from the southern strike groups. We had multiple engagements with both strike forces and fighter groups downing 7 enemy aircraft at the loss of 3 of our own. SUMMARY 11 pilots 32 sorties 29 safe landing(s) 3 airframe(s) lost ( 3 x Bf-109G6 *) 1 pilot(s) KIA 2 taken POW 7 victories 1 assist(s) 3 ground objects and/or AI destroyed <S> |
