The Group was tasked with a early Frame attack on two of the enemy beachheads on the SE Coast of the Island. On arrival we learned that protective DD fire would need to be dealt with at both locations in order to attack the various ground targets. We knew that there would be limited time to do the ground attacks as we also needed to set up a CAP over the South end of the island prior to the arrival of the enemy attack force. As it turned out, the enemy did not seem to desire to leave their own radar coverage, and the Group ended up chasing them all the way back to their bases and engaged them there towards the end of the Frame. Pilots =JMan= and MadCat were on TDY with the Knights.
