Frame CO Hawk came up with a good plan that was well executed by the Heavies. From a fighter group's perspective: we got to sweep escort, we got to close escort, we dropped bombs, we strafed ground targets, AND we got to engage the bad guys' aircraft. We got decent victories with minimal losses. It was an interesting day in Oz.
