Ack WILL be set higher this frame. It was turned up frame 2 to simulate the defences being more ready. There will also be more ack, frame 1 and 3 some of the ack was destroyed by Jabo to give us very lite ack.
I flew by F2 frame 2 and the 40mm was pinging me while I was still over the water.
That was why I wanted the SEAD group to hit the ack F9/F11 area as that is our egress route plus hopefully it pulls the US to that area.
If no major objections we will continue as outlined. Jabo gave the OK to use AI and the "S" strike command.
If it looks like the SEAD group gets in trouble and outnumbered the 4th/352nd will come direct to them while Vals orbit to the west.
Initial thoughts for Rally point is 3,3,x then SEAD group heads in direct. 3-5 min later Strike group heads towards Pearl Harbor direct.
SEAD group if possible 1 or 2 Vals so you can use the AI to attack and also let the US see actual bombers... on your ingress fly tight so you "look" like bombers.
Strike group...need you at max all of maybe 15k. KofN fighters have direct escort within 3-5k HIGHER than you are. 4th Has mid level CAP at ~20k no higher than 22k. This way you are close enough to get to the buffs and/or climb UP to the US fighters which will be max alt of 26-28k..unless F4F then once they maneuver they will lose alt... 35nd has top CAP.
One of two things will happen...
1. everything goes close to plan... Vals get to Pearl with no opposition. As they go into their dives the escorts hold over the Pearl area and escort them West while keeping some alt. KofN fighters stay with your buffs until feet wet..
2. SEAD group steps in it....then Vals orbit out over water while ALL fighters (except KofN) go to SEAD group and do fighter things. Vals be ready to come to Pearl and egress the same way
Egress...from Pearl is tot the WEST on the deck NORTH of F11 then NORTH of F9. Beware two 40mm N of F9.
SEAD use your AI as needed. Do fighter things and try and knock back some the designated ack at 9/11
Strike group your AI have a short engagement distance so you need to hold the "S" strike command until almost over Pearl or the will attack F11 instead. Your AI should attack different targets but stagger the AI "S" command so the AIs have time to attack the ack. If possible you fly over Pearl sending AI to attack then do a quick flip and dive in from the EAST side of Pearl to facilitate the egress to the WEST.
Also have your own battleships targets picked out..not sure how many bombs it takes to kill one..so you may need to double up.
ALL BUFFS will turn fight if attacked...do NOT trust your gunner. Get the US fighters turning that is their weakness... Beware if any P36s show up...not sure if they will as we closed F12 BUT they CAN turn with Zeke....ALMOST ..so be aware you will have to pull harder if one gets behind you. You probably wont get away from him so will need a wing man to shoot him off your six.
