I wasn't aware the dazzle paint job left the testing phase yet

Yes you can have strippers, I ordered 5 strippers to be in each O Club. :D

Actually, I want LF6 to find them and wait out front till we start the attack run, then they can lead us in and strip the escort.

If they appear on DAR, we can adjust positions so LF6 can do some stripping when we start the attack run. If we start stripping too soon they will just pull up fighters from the back group or recall the forward sweep.

Once LF6 lands, they can reup in the 109G6R6 for bomber killing (only if we have scattered the buffs and escort)

Per the rules, subtypes are considered separate aircraft for the frame. We will have to pick one or the other. Fighter V fighter, G-6 is kilometers better to the RVI.

This is a quote from the Series Rules.

"9. Squad Aircraft - each squad may be assigned a\c steps that are relative to their special roles. A list is provided of eligible a/c types in the A/C table. It should be noted that LW players may switch between the 109G6 or 109G6/R6 during the same frame, this is the only a/c that may break the 1 a/c type rule. It is to simulate the possible conversion of Rüstsätze in the field allowing the various Bf109 Geschwaders to fly a mix of a/c on any given day."

This happens every so often, usually in late war series. ;)

I did not expect the 109G6R6 to do fighter v fighter. I would only add the pod if the fighter escort and bombers were scattered all over the map. :)

Remember the AI B17s will not be flying at 30,000ft. They will come in around 22-26,000ft and have staggered alts like a real USAAF box. So A8s will be needed to make a hard firing pass and get out of dodge. Please check out the B17 hardness in dawgers setup in the WW2 arena. There damage files have been updated and otto should be checked as those are set in the mbls.
