Frame IV Orders

DR / NS / Nomads / Anyone who is going to fly a Bomber - I would like you all to roll from F7 and combine as a single unit to climb to altitude along the northern latitude line before turning South to Southeast along the described route to Malta. Primary target(s) are to close any remaining fields that have already been destroyed in previous frames. If any fields have been rebuilt (even though they are not suppose to) then pick one and get it closed. You will have the 23rd and LF6 with you on your way in and the 352nd and 4th on your way out.

352nd and 4th - F124 and F136, Please roll at T+0 with tank and full fuel. Climb north of the dar circle as indicated on the map. Merge together as a large fighter wing and meander down the 10 line. Fuel Conserve as best you can. Follow route into Malta as described on Map. If you care to send out some low scouts looking for a quick strike on targets along the coast you may do so with your own discretion. Please call out any contacts if seen.

23rd - F157 .. Please roll T+0 and patrol south of your field looking for quick strikes on our shipping lanes. Call out any contacts but do not get in over your head. LF-6 will be just to your north if you need help. If all is clear get with LF-6 to help escort bombers in.

LF-6 - F44 .. Roll T+0 tanks and full fuel. Conserve and get to the 5.5X to meet the buffs on their way in.

Please use country channel to contact me. 352nd and 4th can use their own for communication and LF6 and 23rd may do the same. I would like all bomber communication on country channel.

Any Changes will be in RED

This can be left up to whom ever has bomb lead. I don't know who is showing up in bombers. I have only seen posts from Gums.

Gums or Darryl ... Any ideas on buff type?

If Zero bomber pilots show up then it will be 4 fighter groups against 3 fighter groups over Malta.

Horrido!

JU-88's will work great with about 60% gas/4 x 500 KG eggs and we can recover at F205 or elsewhere.

The proposed route is really long, and last week we used 157 and were at 18K early. Buffs will likely cut the corner for timing, otherwise cruise real slow and have another beer. Maybe two.

Looking at stuff and looks like boats could still be good tgts. Rules don't seem to show them staying sunk, tho' the convoys have been decimated by the LW folks and seem to be CNX rest of the series. Too bad, 'cause real scenario depended on the Allied boats and subs for supplies. The siege wasn't over until RAF and RN and even USN used carriers to bring in more Spits to gain air superiority.

Port intell later, but we done great last frame, huh?

The map route is for operational awareness for all groups. If the Bomber lead sees it necessary to cut corners for timing purposes then just keep us all posted of your position.

DART:
Someone has been able to disable our team speak channel. I have asked wldbil to check the TS logs and let me know who did it and what their punishment is for doing so. Sent second e-mail to wldbil requesting same and notifying him that someone has put a password on the channel and has not notified me of what it is. Sent third e-mail letting him know of the latest development regarding TS. He hasn't responded to any one of the three e-mails. I added that the DR will not be flying in the S3 until he gets this straightened out and replies to my e-mail correspondence as the CO of the dadgum squad with the information requested. TS keeps logs of everything, so I am not asking anything that can't be done. This kind of behavior is ridiculous and we want answers.

Will let you know if I hear from him.

Darryl <S>

UPDATE:
Omega said that he put the password on the channel to stop someone from changing the name of the squad channel. He said that he changed it back four times before he added the password to stop the person from changing our channel. If we don't hear from iENT regarding who has been doing this and what their punishment is, we will NOT fly in the S3 frame 4. Omega was asked to remove the password, but now he is unable to do so.

Not likely you will hear from Bill..
Last I heard he is traveling from Fl back up to NC with stops en-route... so he may not be able to login and get you the info you need until he is relocated at his summer house in NC.

Thanks for the info about wldbil traveling. I have sent the e-mail to customer service (I believe that is John, yes?) and have heard nothing back from anyone.

Thanks for the offer for the use of TK channel. I think that Omega has got the TS working again for us.

Based on what both of you have said, we will try to rally the DR for the mission in frame four.

Thanks again,
Darryl <S>
