Thanks all for the help to start the frame and get the fields closed in the 1st sortie. We all adapted well for the rest of the frame and kept F7 alive so we could use it to slow their progress in the west. At the same time they left the entire southern coast unprotected and the Knights were able to close all 5 fields that they could have used in frame 5. Now they have nothing unless Jabo give them the fields in the 8.6 grid.

Thanks again for your support and to Jabo and Phenix ... ( Where is Roan? ) for keeping my Sunday's entertaining.

Nice job Doc. Big map and hard to cover it all. Glad Hawk and team had another productive frame.

Those B24s were hard to bring down tonight. We lost Parson to an Otto PK. Did anyone even get one to smoke? I got a some hits on one and was immediately immersed in Otto fire and escorts. I guess the "big wing" paid off for the allies tonite. Was 35k looking up at P38s and Spits much of the time. Some good fights through. I think Dolch and I let one particular wiggly spit off the hook. Some horrendous gunnery on my part.

<S> all, was fun...

Ditto on the great job, Doc. The Allies through everything they had at F7 to attempt a "just in time" closure of the field. They failed. You should be very proud of all of your LW units who rallied with each other and prevented that field from falling (during this Frame) to the Allies. <S>

DrDart,

It was a fun night for the Knights. We closed bases and sunk ships without even being attacked. Even though cons were near and landed at the base we were attacking, we were puzzled why they didn't go after us. :o

At the end, I sent my Knight fighters north to have a little fun. Great frame buddy!

They were tough Oskar. I got decent passes on two of them with no apparent damage but both times I was immediately brushed off by their escorts.

Good lead Doc.

Tried real hard to get up above 12km, but the 109 just wasn't having it at heavy fuel loads. Knowing that we would likely play footsy with them we elected for more fuel. Their discipline this frame was good for them and good for us. Until the end we weren't pursued once they pushed us away from the buff box. Saw 352 engage near field 45 the same time we did but after that it was a cloud of dots.

I bet they do the same thing next frame. We still have plenty of targets in the SE region they can't possibly defend effectively.

Agree with many remaining SE targets. Let our Jabo's / buffs run wild in the undefended areas
piling up tons more points, adding to our blowout win.

Also agree we'll again see some tweaked version of the big wing escorted buff mission. They
will only engage on their terms: All of their fighters together, buffs at 25k. Will have to analyze
the new map (ie see how much more land "Patton" has taken)

It's apparent our best shot vs the Big Wing is to have all our fighter units together to
somewhat even the numbers. Since the outcome of this series has not been in doubt
now for weeks, probably best to figure out how to unleash all of our hunter killer fighters
working together for an all out "kill em all" frame.

I was in the tower at 7 doing GCI when the buffs hit at frame's end - minor damage at most. We lost some buildings
and an ack gun or two. Great LW defense at 7! Saved a key field and prevented any buffs flipping for
a 2nd pass.
