Thought the Dar at 30 was dead?

4th FG would happily send a wingpair of scouts straight to Oahu to find- and stay above the main enemy force. Thus knowing where they are and if they commit in full force to the 11-Ewa strike.

Excellent Idea..

we may send a pair from the 4th and 352 to sweep the E/W sides of the island. They should be able to see everything over the island and keep the US looking up.

Then let the SEAD group show their hand..

Banzai!

Well, looks like a plan.

- We do not have tgt assignments yet for the Ford Island attack.

- Time from the RV to target was bout 25 minutes and a little.

- Fuel is not an issue for the Vals and 50% seems good. Sucker cruises at about 220 mph GS at 10K and using 90% power. Strange power curve, and below 70% power ya gonna slow down. Turns like a Zeke ( so I understand Jman's fascination with it). Had one gear shot off but the crash landing on the boat went well.

- I can't see coming in much above 10K. The 40's are not a problem above 8K, and the 88's are good to the stratosphere!!! Big thing is to scoot out west ASAP and find some lite friends ( hint)
