It was apparent that the Ruskies really wanted the East end of our island, putting the 352nd and the 4th together there. I have to thank Luftflotte 6 and the 475th for excellent work while outnumbered.
Each time I wanted to send someone to assist you, more AI appeared and we had to prevent them from getting to targets. The 23rd did a great job closing 3 fields and getting 41 AI's.
127 Wing got close, but they were diverted to get the AI's that had eluded the 23rd, then to protect our shipping off Yalata. Coolon got 1, but was bagged before he got out.
I am really sorry that the American Eagles left when the country channel was not working, I could have sent them into the fray in the East.
The Russians will be closer, so I expect NOE attacks and/or AI attacks on the ships, especially if our shipping (just a few) are still just South of 258.
