initiated a southerly movement to attempt intercept of enemy attacks at post 100.

Arriving at 23k+ descended 2 to recon positions.
Encountered 7+ P40s at 15k heading 280º from post 100.
Initiated attack and it became a free for all to the deck as the enemy fought well keeping in their own parameters.
Traded kills (2 for 2 probable).

Sortie 2 began consistent movements by both sides to the 77-78 areas to attempt defense and destruction of enemy fields there, this became the same for the next sorties to the end.
Using 1936 aircraft for a few able to down approx 9+ enemy warhawks and cobras.
Losses approx 7+.
