First of all, good job to all squadrons in pursuing the enemy. I did what I could to vector the three main bodies for intercept.
23rd and Lf6 were vectored toward the area of 34 while the AE's were directed to cover the area of 117. When the area around 117 seemed to be overloaded, Lf6 was vectored down to assist. 23rd held cover to the North.
When the enemy egressed from 117, the remaining strikes appeared to concentrate on 41 and 111, and the rest of the defense stayed in that area.
Jabo strikes were launched against 114, 119, and the boats near 36. The buffer appeared to show numerous destroyed targets.
Thank you to the squadron leaders for taking charge and keeping the groups together.
Moving forward, I believe we need to avoid the temptation to engage or pursue fighter aircraft. The risk/reward ratio is not in our favor, and the aircraft we have are designed to hunt buffs, not to tangle with Spitfires.
