S3 Series

Tried several attacks (HO and astern) in the S3 arena this afternoon in N1K1 and the Ki84. B24Js seem to go down fairly easily, with the rear fuselage usually departing the fix quite quickly. However, I found otto to be very accurate. On three HOs I lost my engine twice, and both times during rear quarter attacks. I'd expect to get hit easier on the rear attacks, but the percentage of engine kills during HOs/front quarter attacks seemed a bit high. My 2 cents.

Think those AI were set to be at 50 skill level on the gunnery. Using 25 in the arena for the TBFs last frame. They were easy pickings because they had to descend to drop their bombs. Level bombers will be harder as they will be in formation with lots of guns shooting back at you.

The thing about AI routines is you just need a snap shot on them to give them heavy damage and it doesnt seem to matter where you hit either. Player drones are another matter but they have the otto settings set by the arena.
