Horrido!
Back from TDY and trying to get a handle on the frame. Been home an hour or so, and just checked mail, etc.
- I have to try the torps, but do not tink arena had any boats. Maybe Cool tried torps, but seems to me that using the drones in a spread formation we could gat pretty good tracks for our torps, then take chances getting outta dodge.
- The 88 is the plane of choice for loadouts and performance. Once egressing we can make it difficult for folks to catch us or escort us.
- A gorilla to the island might work, but sinking boats still seems worth looking at. They can be sunk with bombs, and a trail form with drones might work. But the run-in is tuff and requires plenty of practice versus real boats at the same speed.
later,
Herr Gums sends...
"God in your guts, good men at your back, wings that stay on - and Tally Ho!"

If you use torps in the Ju87 stay above 300ft please or you will get stuck on the water.
Keep your AI wingmen with you. Everytime someone sends them alone to do something its usually a disaster. They are only good to keep formation, provide defensive fire and drop when you drop. THe biggest advantage is that you can switch between them as the lead goes down. Please practice switching between AI so you understand the interface. It will make you much more effective.
If you send a small squad onto RAF dar they will only scramble a small squad. If you send a larger squad they will scramble more, etc. Something to think about.
If you attack a ship convoy they will report you.
If you go NOE to Malta they will report you when you hit land. Malta was a small set of islands heavily fortified with many coastwatchers but the Luftwaffe was able to strafe their airfields from time to time.
