First off I need to say sorry to the 475th, I (LF6) thought you were all heading north right after you drop on T42 and were getting alt while LF6 was setting up to drop. Did not mean to leave you guys naked. <S>

Nice job tonight again by all, knowing that you are flexible at a moments notice and know how to get a job done!! It looked ugly but I don't think it was to bad. If we loose this frame another squad will get a reinforcement of 109E4s.

DR/Nomads great job tonight blowing up a lot of shit and actually closing 38 and it was captured WTG!! You also did some good damage to 34. 2nd sortie you guys rolled and shut down 65 and mangled 52 pretty good. Jabo said 65 should be closed and captured and 52 is closed. AWESOME job. we got 2 fields and they got two fields. It is going to be close on actual BDA.

NS thanks again for going out solo to distract them down in the south and it did seem to work as assets were sent there for you and stayed there for remainder of the frame pretty much. <S>

475/LF6 nice drops early in the frame and pulling their assets down to the central area you both have 109s dor the rest of the series to fly no more 110s ;-) Nice job getting the buffs in an out with little to no losses.

23rd thanks for shutting the back door again this frame and at the end of the frame mingling with that mess down at 65.

Again all thanks for doing what was asked from you all and being flexible. <<S>>

So from a GAME play perspective here is my take aways for tonight.

Don't worry about shit that JABO posts for frame 3 in regards to the FEBA fight.

New FEBA system was not to force the sides into conflict as evident by the last two allied "ATTACK AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE" from the planned area's of interest. For some reason I envisioned a CAS type scenario where you were fighting to defend your tanks/kill their tanks and then letting your armour close the fields to advance the front. Appears I was completely off base ...

So with that in mind, just come up with a plan outside of the flashing circles of bullshit and execute it.

352nd already has shown they are more then comfortable in killing with 303s....and since they are taking multiple bombers down with the 303 aircraft on the same sortie, there is no question on their effectiveness. They will come hard early and attack without support.

So deal with them early on, or let them wreak havoc the entire frame.

That was kinda the idea from the beginning, we could choose to help the ground campaign, or go around it creating additional fronts, just as they did. Advantages of attacking with the tanks is having ground support with the airstrike, making closing/capture happen quickly as seen with 38. I don't know if they captured their closed fields as I left early, but at the time they didn't have capture routines close enough to flip the field they hit way off the front.

Just as previous series, jabos calls are informative like 112 but have never been the reason to change plans. We've been burned or wasted efforts chasing calls around in the past. Usually the old bomber defense series is the only time we've ever listened to reporting. It's always best to stick to the game plan.

On gun effectiveness the 110 and 109 have the same cannon, just the 110 has more ammo. The E-3 and E-4 have essentially the same gun, the E-4 shooting "explosive" rounds. To what extent this might be modeled I don't know as WB doesn't do explosives. Fudging KE maybe? Anyway the comparative power between the 109 and 110 should be the same with the E-3/110C feeling a little "deader" than the E-4. Also of note, the Hurricane and many early models have always been very tough to kill. I got two Hurris relatively quick in the 110 but I was also able to get within D2 before they became wise I was sharking them. That said I only had 25% cannon left after the affair, I missed a fair amount too when they starting freak yankin so it was hard to say how strong the 20s actually were.

303s have always been laser beams and they shoot lots of em. Don't know how many times I've been a D5 or greater kill on those damn things

Horrido!

Pretty good frame decisions by Jugs, IMHO. Tink it will be a draw.

And Dobs has the strategerie nailed, far as I am concerned. Gain air superiority and then let the tanks and buffs do their stuff - we'll be in Paris before the series ends.

Lastly, and need verification. Both Darryl and Gums had the DTF file go away after 15 seconds or so. Tried it many times. Anybudy else? It loaded O.K. and flight tested O.K. before the frame. Must be some CM command running on a timed script that "clears" the map, huh? We didn't have a DTF for 1st frame so unless sumbudy else had one, let us know.

Herr Gums sends...

Anytime a timed blue message comes up it makes your personalized stuff go away.

Scripts are funny that way...wait till after Frame starts. Pretty sure Jabo is on manual mode after that.

Well jabo's assessment is posted and took a heavy hit on buffs for the points and that's where the spread will be between us and them. Sorry guys
