Looking for aerial photos of the pearl installations. Need them to be as vertical as possible. I wonder how the Japanese got their recce photos? Or if they even did. |

All these images really help with building placement and historical accuracy. For a realistic texture we need a straight down photo recon view of at least part of the area. Even pre-war or post war would do. Just to give the look of a built up area. |

Thats a great one coolon. If it was just a bit higher res I could put it as a texture on that exact island and you would see the streets and runway etc. But regardless its great for placing building objects. You can see this airfield was rather elaborate. The problem with terrains in the enhanced graphics mode is that you are allowed only 4 textures per arena so you have to get one that works for all areas. But since Pearl is so small we may be able to find one that fits the entire harbour area, if we are lucky or can scan something. |
