Above snapshot of the core was from a recently built system:
I-7 3770 quad core processor.
G.SKILL Trident X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2666 (PC3 21300) Desktop Memory Model F3-2666C11D-
GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Vid cards are
EVGA GeForce GTX 660 SUPERCLOCKED 2048MB GDDR5 x2 run in SLI.
Running on an SSD drive.

I do a lot of recording in 1080p while I fly, and I've noticed framerates from >600 fps to 150ish fps...which made me wonder what was causing the big disparity so I put Resource monitor on my 2nd monitor and saw the snapshot that I posted.

Graphic cards don't hiccup for me, but I00% CPU usage is never good IMO.

Cheers!

Could it be a MAC issue?

I'm guessing it can be… I never had this kinda problem before, and since one of the latest updates it started… but I don't think they changed something 'bout the graphic processing on those :? All my other stuff keep running smooth!

Well… when I see many objects on the ground I'll close my eyes and will try to kill anyway

If you are not attacking ground targets, you could turn down the terrain detail, that should help.

Thanks for the tip :)

I did turned down all settings but I still have a lame FPS close to the ground.

Discovered another issue: the max terrain texture sticks to the NO LIMIT value, and I can't change it. When I mess with the settings and click save changes, an come back to the video settings, the max texture settings is back to no limit :-? All other keep the changes previously made.

Has this with the BOLD FONT FOR ICONS before. This one is working now.
