Whether or not a player wishes to use voice comms is up to them, but doing so makes the game much more immersive.
The preferred option for voice comms is to use the DISCORD application. If you do not have DISCORD installed, click on the link below to download the app and create a user profile.

On DISCORD, the "Warbirds TotalSims" server is a private and not a public server. To join the server, click on the invitation link below after you have installed DISCORD:
