May he rest in peace. One really good guy. :(

Quote:
Though he hasn't posted much the last few years, anyone who flew in the S3 will know his name.
This morning Peter "roan" Robb passed away from complications due to prostate cancer. He fought long and hard and I am honored to call him and his loving wife Rosalie friends.
This one hit me hard as we were diagnosed pretty much the same time and I missed too many opportunities to see him more often, least of all covid shutting boarders. RIP
If so someone is still involved at the Wbs forum can you please post there.

Gone for a Burton, but far too early. With Jabo, he was half of the duo the started the S3s, almost 24 years ago.

I always thought of Roan as the "quiet" half of the janitors. A fine person to be sure.
Those were the days.

Roan was the quiet half up front. :) But, he handled all the situations with rule breakers and calming irate patrons on the back side for Jabo.

Met him at one of the cons and he was just as you would have thought from his online persona. Calm, friendly, and Canadian. :)

The memories of days gone past keep coming to the forefront. Such fond memories they are.

Blue Skies Roan. Another nickle in the grass. <S>

Wow sorry to hear.
It was nice meeting roan at a WB's get-together at an airshow in Ohio years back.
I really appreciated all the work he did with other janitors organizing the S3s.
RIP and Blue skies.

He was a great man... He helped me when I started doing the S3's. It's sad to read that he has passed. It hurts me, even though I never met him.
