http://www.squadselectseries.com Frame 3 saw some great planning on both sides. Axis have the pressure up being squeezed tighter and tighter into their defensive ring but they gave bloody noses every time the VVS showed themselves in force. The VVS kept them guessing working the radar holes and escorting well using a good amount of their inferior P39s in that role. Biggest bomber formation we have seen in awhile with nice tight lines and discipline. Some great ingame video clips makes it sound like a real war, just need some accents other than southern and we are good to go. New map up with a partial summary waiting on the S6 to come up. IL2s continue to hurt the VVS since they dont seem to hit much but they may have accounted for a radar or two. Starting to look more like the flying tanks they were though and dont go down with a quick burst or two. Even saw a couple 190s have their engines smoked by rear gunners. We have ships and GVs down still working on the aircraft as AI. Pros and cons on both sides. Good Luck in Frame 4 |

Jabo, Will 213 and 233 have DAR? We closed them frame 3, will they be destroyed before frame 4 starts? and, silly question maybe, what does MOB mean on the map? |

All fields with the cross-out icon are closed and destroyed before the frame starts. Squads that risk a homebase really close to the frontline get pushed back to the MOB if their base is closed during play. |

Summary updated with the Axis winning frame 3 and taking a lead into frame 4; 222 to 198. Axis air to air was superb causing the VVS to write off 134 airframes during the night while they lost only 24, 4 of which were destroyed on the ground by bombing. VVS bombers did well but the crucial shipping targets were left untouched except on the SE coast where IL2s sank several static ships during the night. VVS may have scored a couple extra points as AI aircraft can destroy targets but they dont register in the log so all objects like parked a/c and static shipping have to be checked after the night. I didnt check the AI ship routines and it is possible the IL2s could have attacked one of them in the area and sank some ships. Good Luck in Frame 4 |

Score summary accounts for no player kills at all in frame 1. Also frame 3 has credited the VVS with 36 experten/newbies as POW/KIA, while the LW only recieved a total of 12 POW/KIA. Considering the LW scored 47 vs 20 kills, it should be the other way around? The Soviet secret police must have poured whiskey into the donkey's water  .Awesome and intense S3 so far! /robert 4th FG - CO 336th --=edit=-- Checking the s6 plane summary for frame 3, I can only find 29 player kills for LW, 11 kills for the VVS. This differs from the Score Summary. A very confused Robert. |
