http://www.squadselectseries.comFrame 3 saw an unlucky start by the Axis. A hurri-bomber strike force hit 113 on the coast and on return to 138 found the main Axis strike force on the deck to the west of Corfu and dispatched all of the defenseless Do17s. This left the axis with few strike a/c for the rest of the frame and with the superiority of the Hurricanes over 110s, no 109s being in the air this night, the allies were able to gain air superiority in the west and north. Their blenheims and hurribombers stuck again and again during the night closing 3 village bases, 2 GAF and a tank unit. This allowed the front to be moved back north to almost the same frontline to start frame 2.
Confirmed kills between fighter types were heavily in the allied favour with hurris taking down 24 110s and the 110s only taking down 10 in return. The situation should change in the final two frames as the axis have only flown 11 Ki43s and 15 109s in the first three frames and have held onto the balance for the last two.
Allies win frame 3 and take a commanding lead 185 to 114 going into frame 4.
Good Luck in Frame 4.
