Additions/amendments will be in RED text.

It's the spring of 1941. Germany has turned its attention to the Soviet Union with most of its fighter units being withdrawn from occupied France. The RAF goes on the offensive using daylight attacks by small bomber formations to draw the remaining LW fighters into combat. These bombers were protected by scores of RAF fighters.

Circus Circus is a four frame series, with each team flying Allied or Axis for two frames. Allied objective is to destroy as many LW aircraft as possible while getting their bombers to target. LW objective is to destroy the Allied bombers. Given player numbers are low, to offset the absence of "clouds of RAF fighters" BUFF TOUGH will be set at 3 vice the usual 1.0.

Allied Bombers. Buffs are the "bait" that the LW must attack. Each will have one AI wingman. Buffs must operate between 10K and 15K, maintain close formation, and attack the same target. AI wingmen must stay in formation and drop their bombs at the same time as their leader. The buffs must attempt to attack one of the four targets marked by red circles on the planning map: F91, F95, F96 and F111. Bombers must destroy a minimum of two objects at a target location for the Allies to score points.
- A minimum of one player and a maximum of two players can fly a buff at the same time.
- Bombers may only attack one target location per bomber sortie, i.e. all aircraft must attack the same target.
- Once successfully attacked, additional attacks on a target location do not score VPs for that team.
Allied fighters MAY NOT conduct ground attacks.

Planning Map Frame 1 - Channel 1944 terrain. Many fields in the terrain in both the UK and France did not exist in 1941. They will be set neutral, closed and hidden on the tower and inflight maps. Pilots are cautioned not to land at these locations as it will count as a ditch with the aircraft lost.
Flight ops are only permitted in non-shaded areas. With the exception of F19 (East Church) and F95 (Merville), all aircraft will be available at all airfields. F19 will have a 10K air start and will only be available to RAF bombers. F95 is a LW bomber field and will have no aircraft enabled. LW pilots landing at F95 can avoid losing their aircraft, but do lose one of their lives as they have to teleport to fly again.
LW MAY NOT OVERFLY THE UK

Use of the modified inflight map is strongly recommended.
The file can be found at the link below and saved to your warbirds root directory:

Prior to flight, in the tower map view ICONS should be selected ON and FIELD NAMES selected OFF.

5. Scoring
Victory Points are earned as follows:
Each bomber target successfully attacked scores 10 VPs for the Allies.
Each LW fighter lost (any cause) scores 2 VPs for the Allies.
Each Bomber/AI lost scores 5 VPs for the Axis.
Allied fighter losses do not score points for the Axis.
Team with the most VPs after 4 frames will be victorious.
