There were a lot of field issues last night from glass walls to sticky runways. Some of these resulted in a death. As you know, I rarely erase deaths from the log. However, I have and will clean up after field anomaly deaths that are bugs in the game. Please send me an email, or private me here with your story of woe. I'll be verifying your story matches the log. THEN go over to the Terrain section of this BBS and post the field and the issue so we can get it fixed. |

Field 18 has a translucent ground effect near the beginning of Primary runway (at the arrow point). At this point of translucence there is an overlap of terrain. The field actually floats above a hill at the point. When landing here you explode as if you ran straight into the hill that it floats above. |

There is a new manditory update that hopefully fixes some of the field issues. F18 was moved off the valley and the tower level with the field, that should fix those ones. Need the ones reported to have sticky grass to be tested as well. Added a bounding box to those to see if it helps remove the sticky grass issue on the actual runway. Was away on the road so didnt have time to test the changes so any help is appreciated. |
