http://www.squadselectseries.com - new summary up, Pearl Harbor map in effect for Frame 3.
With the Japanese firmly established in Siam they launched their highly mobile jungle trained divisions down the Malay peninsula. Both the IJN and IJAAF provided strong fighter and ground support against the tenacious RAF defenses. Initial advances occurred first on the west coast where the majority of the British forces were. A strong attack by Japanese betty bombers was launched against Georgetown area and was met with strong fighter defenses. Toward the interior the Japanese used fighter and naval strike aircraft to dislodge the RAF from their one central base. The fighting in both areas was furious with Japanese ground forces slowly overrunning or forcing British and Australian forces to retreat down each coast. The RAF were not just playing defense and later in the night launched several Swordfish sorties against newly captured Japanese positions.
Japanese losses were less than in Frame 1 and they inflicted more losses and BDA on the British. Frame 2 was so close in scoring it is ruled a TIE. But the Allies still lead going into Frame 3.
FRAME 3 RULES - no frame this Thanksgiving Weekend. This if for Dec 3rd.
