When flying the 109G14, I get no engine sound.
I have asked when flying on line if anyone else has this issue and I get a mixed response.
It may be a Mac thing.

My work around for this was to dump the "109g14am.txt" file from my WB sounds folder.
My guess is the game then resorts to the default sound. Works fine now.

I would suggest this to anyone flying LW this series if they don't hear the engine sound.
Unless there is a fix in the works this week.

No problem here, on a Mac as well.

Using bommel's sounds on a Mac; no issues.

Thanks.
I have them, just need to reload them. Had to do a fresh install of WB a while back and never got to loading them back in. Got too lazy.

Update before you re-install Bom's. You know what updaters do to personalized settings.

Not to hijack...but segue

Have any of you noticed a 'speeding' up of various sounds...such that it makes (for instance) a check-six call sound like it was given by the Chipmunks? It is easily noticeable with the Check Six, but can be heard with flaps, wheel 'screetch', guns, cannon...

It doesn't happen with one specific sound, but often with the IJ and Luftwaffe check-six. Testing within the Finder shows that the sound files are indeed correct and play perfectly. But sometimes those same sound files start TWEEKING and audibly sound like a cartoon.

Wow, haven't heard that one! Might be fun to have it happen once in awhile, hehe.
