Salute! Great to hear, Rich. A huge "attaboy"!!!! I know the feeling from 64 years ago. We should get up there in about three weeks. I'll be dragging my oxygen doofer long and should do O.K. if I move slowly. He will be BZ for about 8 weeks after signing in. No cell phone or 'net or visitors. There are some neat programs for the basics that involve local sponsors, and I would exploit those. The new class will enter over at the field house due to things like "parking for all the parents". Good grief. My parents posted a stamp on my forehead and airmailed me!! USAFA provided rooms at a motel and bussed us down the next day. I never saw a "parent" until Labor Day when we had an open house. Drop a line, Thor. Wait a few weeks, as we have a lot on a our plate with home improvement and other crapola. Main 'puter is being replaced, but no WB missions yet. Doggone giga bytes and other stuff makes it harder these days. Gums sends... |
