Salute!

I have heard the same thing.

-pd--- was much closer, personally, as they were charter members of the 22nd Red Raiders. So he may have something to add.

Gums sends...

WHawk took the .dtf file from something that was "really nice to have" to a tool that one just could not be without. Our Group distributed every one of his files each time he was on our side. His contribution to S3 play was HUGE. His presence has been missed immensely since he "retired" from S3 play. <S> WHawk

Well said Wolf.

I had the privilege of flying with him on many occasions when he was our CO of the Nomads. Also, as you indicated, he was the master at developing the DTFs that we all enjoy today. In fact, he posted a great tutorial on the making of them that many use today. In addition, he was a great strategist in my mind.

I, too, would hope we might do a special event to honor the contributions he gave us all. I also would suggest that his call sign be added to the AIs.

May he rest in peace and have Blue skies forever.
SALUTE

Dang, was able to track this down. Met him at the 2006 convention, was as much a personality in real life as he was online. Traded a lot of dot file information with him over the years that I think helped us both.
